Runtime Licenses
OOMEGA is licensed under the GPL by default. The GPL license is ideal if you plan to use OOMEGA in house or you plan to develop and distribute your own derivative work as free software under the GPL as well. A commercial license is required if you want to embed OOMEGA in a commercial non-GPL product.

Floating Licenses
OOMEGA Persistency is a commercial and closed-source product. Our licensing model allows for interchanging the concrete database bindings - so you buy floating licenses for the product OOMEGA Persistency and you decide later whether to use Hibernate, Versant or db4objects. Please note, the number of licenses equates to the maximum number of concurrent users.

OEM licensing terms: For large volumes we offer OEM licensing terms including additional discounts. In general, our OEM licensing terms ensure that OOMEGA represents no more than 5% of the list price of your solution.
Upgrade policy: Minor releases are available free of charge for all customers owning the associated major release. Major releases can be obtained for 60% of the license cost, if you own one of the preceding major releases.
